Transit Connect Conversion

"My husband asked what the vehicles (Transit Connect) were? We each drove one & we liked it and after many questions bought one. Because I am handicapped (Osteo Arth), we had modifications made.

1. Insulated the rear side walls and inside of side doors, covering all with blue vinyl to match the seat color and making it easy to clean the entire rear of the vehicle & it is very attractive!
2. Installed side windows above the rear tires so it looked less like a commercial truck.
3. Installed an automatic, hand held mechanism to lift, turn inside and lower my scooter on the back floor. In reverse it lifts, guides by remote the scooter up and out the back of vehicle all the way over to the curb or driveway approach.

I can go alone and use said scooter when ever I want or need to go. The total price (for the conversion) was approx $6200. complete."
